　　二、舉例子

　　“舉例子”：列舉事實或舉出實例來說明中心思想， 是簡單易行、具有說服力的寫作方法。因果型段落只是將敘述重點集中在原因或結構之上，文章所采用的擴展模式還是列舉，列舉原因或結構。舉例的最明顯標志是for example, for instance, such as, take...for an example的使用。同學們不要總是認為要舉大例子，比如偉人事跡之類的，要以所舉的例子盡可能地支持本段觀點為原則。最好舉生活中大家都熟悉的例子，若沒有，可以編例子。編例子的原則是把相對于虛的概念落成實的事例，即在中心思想的基礎上，加上具體的事件和人物。如下面的舉例：

　　Communicating with other people by telephone is very convenient, especially when you have something urgent. For example, if one of your family members is seriously ill at right, and you do not know how to deal with it and where to find a doctor, what can you do? A telephone is the answer. Dial 120 and you will get services from the hospital very soon。
